Your bridesmaids are your support system while you ‘bridezilla’ your way to the altar. And okay so maybe you were not a bridezilla. But your bridesmaid were there to help you out on one of the most important events of your life. They are your friends and your sisters and they deserve something more than a key chain. This is a list of some unique and personal gifts that you can give your lovely bridesmaids to thank them for all their love and support.
Jewelry is always a great present to give, provided you give the right thing. It doesn’t have to be a big expensive piece of jewelry but it should show that you gave you the gifts some thought. You can get custom made rings and inscribe them with something that mean something to your group. Or get them ear studs with the initials of their names. If you want something more common, go for simple but beautiful like some leaf shaped earrings some simple necklaces. The list with jewelry is endless but we have given you two options: get something customized or something more common but beautiful. Just don’t make the jewelry too gaudy because some of the bridesmaids might not like loud jewelry whereas smaller pieces can generally be worn by everyone.
We mentioned the custom made jewelry but personalized gifts are a beautiful way to show that you care. You can give your bridesmaid flasks with their names on it. Robes with their initials monogramed on them might be out of your budget but it is great if you can afford that. A useful gift would be to get your bridesmaids monogrammed hangers for their dresses.
Wine glasses with their customized on them is another gift or a couple of customized or non-customized pillows or cushions. You can gift mugs with their names or a sweet quote about friendship or a photo frame with your picture each of the bridesmaid.
You can also give your bridesmaids something to pamper. It doesn’t have to be some expensive trip. But a gift certificate to a local boutique, make up shop or luxury spa is something your bridesmaids will absolutely love. You can give them a beauty gift package, a beauty and hair makeover at their local salon or even a boudoir photo session. Perfumes also make great yet inexpensive gifts. You can also pamper them with a French manicure kit.
Food is always a great idea! If you don’t have to gift them something, take them out to a great restaurant and treat them. Or you can also send over a gift basket of chocolates and wine or baked goods such as macaroons and cookies.
Make her something
At the end, you can always put your DIY skills to good use. Knit them all scarves or make something in pottery or jewelry or paint something.
Your gift doesn’t have to be expensive. Just show them you care and appreciate all they did for you!
